Mirall

A live digital twin of a V2X deployment

Mirall is a live digital twin of a cooperative-ITS (C-ITS) deployment: simulated vehicles, buses, trucks and pedestrians move across a photorealistic 3D map of Barcelona's Eixample, and behind the scene the actual ETSI C-ITS stack is running — the same binaries deployed on real roadside infrastructure, emitting standard V2X messages (CAM, CPM, SPATEM, MAPEM, DENM, SREM/SSEM) that can be captured and decoded. The arcs show which stations are in radio range of each other; the thicker ones carry live CAM traffic from the stack.

What you are looking at

Roadside units at the junctions run the infrastructure services and the vehicles run onboard ones, so the twin shows both sides of the exchange: what the vehicles say, and what the infrastructure answers.

A live panel tracks the radio channel load, and how far the perceived picture of one instrumented ego drifts from the simulation ground truth.

Why it exists

Mirall runs on the same production C-ITS stack deployed on real roadside infrastructure. The point is fidelity: what works in the twin is meant to work on the street. It is one testbed in the SkyV2X family, alongside an open message decoder, a trust and PKI testbed, and a spec-strict edge service.
